Horse Riding Instructor – Careers in the Horse Industry 44 comments 44 Comments Arylee Cornall on September 24, 2020 at 11:23 pm The above video does not allow reasonable time to read the content shown in the frames. I had to re watch the video, pausing at each frame, in order to read the content. Otherwise, I found the video to be well put together and informative on what is required to successfully complete the Equestrian Horseriding Instructor course and become a qualified Horseriding Instructor. I find the amount of importance put onto the safety and welfare of both horses and humans by the International Horse College refreshing. Reply Jessica Lanke on December 10, 2021 at 12:53 am Becoming a Horse Riding Instructor is a rewarding career path to take on within the Equine Industry. It allows for a constant expansion of your own riding skills but also your students, as you become more experienced you are able to pass down more knowledge to your students. Observing the improvement of your students would make the career a very rewarding one. This is why I have taken on this course of study as I would like to better develop my own skills but also those of others. Reply Cmc on November 26, 2020 at 9:00 am I agree with Arylee Cornall regarding insufficient time to read the text. it was well put together with good content Reply Trudy Berry on January 30, 2021 at 9:25 am This video keeps your attention as the slides are quick and the length of the video is short. For me, the slides are a little too quick. A lot of useful information in a short amount of time. A good outline of what to look forward to as an instructor. Reply Cate McCollam on February 5, 2021 at 2:20 am The video is well presented and includes some great photos but the text is too fast to read and viewers will be continuing to pause the video. Great content though Reply Imogen Hoole on February 5, 2021 at 2:40 am I found the slides on this video with the text were moving too fast and I had to keep pausing to read all the text. However, I think this video is very informative without being a long and lengthy video. I think the emphasis on safety is super important especially when working with young kids and beginners, and this video covered that very well. Reply Jennifer Wallace on March 22, 2021 at 5:19 am I watched the video: “Horse Riding Instructor – Careers in the Horse Industry”. It was very difficult to watch as the time allowed for each clip is not adequate for the time needed to read it. I stopped the video frame by frame to read the information. The video clearly explains that the student of this course must have prior experience with horses, needs to train with a qualified, experienced instructor, and that safety of horses, environment and equipment is a major focus. Students gain information that training on the job as an assistant rising instructor is a possible if such an employment opportunity can be sourced by the student Reply Rebecca Robinson on March 23, 2021 at 4:41 am Safety and adequate training is very important. I am looking forward to learning Reply Tara on April 6, 2021 at 6:05 am I think it is a great video! It includes all the important things necessary to provide a safe and professional teaching environment and you get given a good idea as to what the course involves Reply Phoebe on April 22, 2021 at 2:20 am thank you, this was very helpful can’t wait to get started. Reply Nicole Joy on April 29, 2021 at 7:30 am Content rolls over very fast, I did keep up…. Unlike my left brain introvert horse whom would still be processing the whizzing change between slides…. a little distracting. Key point safety, I like it. Looking forward to getting started. Reply Rebeka Ban on May 5, 2021 at 12:43 am The information in the video was concise and to the point about the course, and what is required by the person looking to study it, while being friendly and easy to absorb. Reply Mia Kearney on December 13, 2021 at 7:09 am Teaching someone something as special as loving and riding horses the way you do, in my opinion can be the most rewarding experience. Choosing this career path allows you to always learn new things, do what you love, and give others the opportunity to do the same. Reply Wynona N-C on March 23, 2022 at 8:16 am The above article does well to give a brief overview on the expectations of becoming a Horse Riding Instructor, the text transitions give an uplifting feel to choosing this career, as well as come amusing images to leave the viewer smiling. Some of the text transitions were a little too fast to be able to read clearly, but this did not impact the quality of the video. Reply Amy on May 17, 2022 at 10:10 am The video above does a very good job of briefly explaining and getting across to the viewers the rewarding reality of becoming a Horse Riding Instructor. Although the video went very fast and I had to pause each frame to read, all the information made sense and shows the uplifting feeling about being around horses by the people in the images smiling and always looking like they are having a good time. Overall the quality of the video was very good. Reply Sam on July 18, 2022 at 2:25 am Sharing skills & seeing others achieve their goals safely. Becoming an instructor is a rewarding experience. Reply Jhazara on August 31, 2022 at 2:25 am This video includes useful steps on how you can start to pursue a career in coaching horse riding. The video made sense, stayed on topic, and included important points such as safety and experience. However, If the video could be a bit longer, I think it would be beneficial to include snippets of interviews with riding instructors talking about what they get from instructing, what it means to them and helpful tips here and there. I feel as though it would be more interactive and inspiring that way, instead of pausing every few seconds to read what’s on the screen. I look forward to applying the information stated in the video to my future Reply Supuk on October 7, 2022 at 11:10 pm This video is very thorough and detailed in regards to the necessary steps that are required to be taken ,however the video does not allow enough time to read the subtitles. Reply Imogen on January 24, 2023 at 4:40 am I think this video is very good and shows all the different details about becoming and being a riding instructor. But the subtitles are a little fast so I struggled to read everything. Reply Ava on January 25, 2023 at 1:31 am Apart from the video being too fast, it was informative and enjoyable to watch. I found it explained the importance of safety and the role of a riding instructor well. Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
