VETiS (Vocational Education and Training in Schools)

If you are studying at a High School in Queensland and would like to learn more about horses, we have some fully funded Vocational Education courses that offer QCE points which will contribute towards your Year 12 results.

Horse Husbandry Assistant

Traineeships

Contact your local Apprenticeship Centre to find employment while you are employed and train in one of our courses.

You may need to find your own employer for your traineeship. Your employer will also receive funding to assist with your wages.

If you are still at school, then your Vocational Education Officer will help you to go through the enrolment process.

Training for Year 12 Graduates (Queensland Only)

If you have completed Year 12 in the last 12 months you may be able to receive funding for your training.

Certificate 3 Guarantee Program

If you are over 15, have left school and live in Queensland then you may be eligible to enrol in a course for only $50. or $100.

– if you don’t hold a Health Care card $100. ($6.25 per unit)

If you either work in a small business (less than 100 employees) or have an ABN, you may be eligible for this course.

Your co-contribution will be

– if you don’t hold a Health Care card $120. ($12.00 per unit)

Policies and Procedures regarding all of our courses

Where students enrol in a funded course and pay a co-contribution fee, they are entitled to a partial refund if they receive credit for any units. This amount is the percentage of the co-contribution fee relevant to the percentage of unit/s credited.
