Since I turned 8 it has always been my goal to be a riding instructor and horse trainer. The course has been particularly helpful in starting my own lesson business.
Mainly showjumping, but we like to try a bit of everything! I find it fun for both horse and rider to keep mixing it up a bit. I particularly enjoy doing bareback, bridleless, tackles and liberty work with my horses.
My ultimate goal is to start my own horse training and riding lesson business, and rescue and rehome neglected horses, as well as go on to compete more regularly in showjumping. I think my horses would like me to buy them plenty of treats 🙂
I liked that it was online and I could do a large part of the course from anywhere with an internet connection! It was also fun to meet like minded people and make connections.
Slowly working on growing my lesson business and going into horse training/starting professionally.
