Kadey Wright
Course of Study: Cert 3 Sports Coaching – Equestrian
What inspired you to study this course?
I’ve always wanted to work in the horse industry, particularly instructing and teaching lessons. These courses have helped me along my journey, giving me qualifications and experience.
What do you do with your horse?
I currently have two horses, one gelding who I compete in show jumping competitions and Pony club. My other horse is a mare who I do a bit of everything with, but I have plans of training her to be my potential trick riding horse.
If you were a millionaire, what dream plan do you have for you and your horse?
I love to set goals for myself, and so I would take the opportunity to build larger facilities etc. so that I could train and become successful in any discipline I choose.
What did you enjoy about your study with International Horse College?
I really enjoyed working with like-minded people, who share the same passion for horses that I do. I found it wasn’t difficult to stay motivated ‘studying’ when I’m learning about topics that really interest me.
What is in the future for you in the equine industry?
I would love to continue teaching lessons to students, as well as hopefully becoming more successful at competitions with my own horses.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about doing a course with International Horse College?
No matter what discipline or riding background you come from, there’s always a course for you!

That’s really cool. I love goal setting as well and it makes you feel so accomplished when you achieve your goals. I’m so excited to continue my studies and become like you!
